Travis is still farming. 

Our daughter, Martha Berry, has been assistant principal for 3 years and was appointed principal of a new school being built in the Friendship School District.  Her husband, Tim, is an EMS chief.  Their son is 20 and is in college.

Our son, Bruce, is farming with us (he is on his own).  His wife is an aide at Ropes Elementary.  Their children go to Ropes..  Ty is a freshman, and Katie is a 6th grader!

We are looking forward to the reunion.  I made our reservations yesterday (7 Feb).

My, how time just flies!  Seems like yesterday when we all gathered around the mulberry bush for the 45th meeting.....Since then, I finished my latest "respectable career of teaching college courses", and retired to just building web sites from home.  On week-ends, I demo Ink Jet Printers made by EPSON at a computer store, and get to play with all the toys.  Gloria and I support 2 cats (and sometimes 2 dogs that Granddaughter  brings over) .  But, we have a new old Mobile Home built for 2, and we are beginning to tour the good 'ol USA.  We are planning to use this wonderful machine more and more as we "unload" our roots in Ft. Worth full time.  We feel that this great country is made to be enjoyed, and we have a lot of enjoying to accomplish yet. 

 So,  look out!  The Texas Penguins are on the Road.

Now, about these pictures.......

On the LEFT:   I had heard of the invasion of the Penguins in Austin, TX.  They were looking for a cool place and ended up here instead.   So my oldest Granddaughter and I went to check them out for sure...and sure enough, here were thousands of these precious little creatures  looking for a cooler place.  So we joined them for a neat photo op!

In the MIDDLE:    A unique shot of our "boys"  (Little Kitty --->the gold one, and Princeton, the Russian Blue).  Here we are in our Patio of Memories, which displays the national flag of every county that Gloria or I have visited within our lifetime...

On the RIGHT:  May of 2005 found Gloria and me at the Panama Canal... WOW, this was really a BIG DITCH.....what a neat trip! It included several other countries at the same time ....I liked this ship because I didn't have to work on this one.....The other ones I sailed upon included 3 hots and a cot, so to speak, were aboard the grey ships.....(Compliments of the U S Navy).
