Just a little up date on me and my family. I line in Silverhill, AL, just across Mobile bay from Mobile. Garden spot of the world. I retired 5 years ago after 31 years with the State of Alabama. I was the Emergency Manager for half the state and was a political appointee for 17 years. I am married to Paula who is my third wife. I have three children and two grand children, a boy 16 and a girl that is 5 going on 21! All my children finished college, one with a master's degree and the other with two degrees. My oldest son works for the State of Alabama as a Ranger and Park Manager at a place called Buck's Pocket where all defeated political candidates are sent to lick their wounds.

Hope to be able to get to the reunion. I always try to come at Thanksgiving to visit my last two living aunts. One is 97 years old, and the other one is 84.

PS: I also go by Jim now, must be a good name!

Charles & CAROL (BERRY) Redditt

What a good idea – should be fun to see and hear about everyone from ’56.

I’m sending three pictures that we made a couple of weeks ago when we were in Charleston, S.C. First, is with my husband, Charles, second is with my brother, Wylie, and the third one is with my sister Jan, brother Wylie, and me (Carol Berry Redditt). We were there for a fun trip to the ole South.

We have been retired for quite a while now. We spend most our of the year in Edmond, Oklahoma but go to the mountains in Tres Ritos, New Mexico for a lengthy stay– where we hike, read, fish, paint, party, and keep our old log cabin in repair. When we are in Edmond, we are involved with First Presbyterian Church where I love being involved with our church choir. None of you will remember me singing but I love to try and they needed “fillers”. It has been delightful to be in the choir – especially for our Christmas and Easter program with the OKC symphony or the OSU Brass or Precussion.

Our son, Clay, is in Arlington, Texas and works with Wachovia Bank. He and his wife have no children. Our daughter, Claire, lives in Sumerville, Tennessee – works in Memphis as a systems analyst with Harrah’s. She and her husband have three children and they liven up our lives.

We have made the move to Tennessee.
